The European Photo Association has the great pleasure and honor of once again being part of the Malinski Photo Festival.
This year, at the Malinski Photo Festival held in Kumanovo, North Macedonia, the European Photo Association is represented by Dušan Ignac, an author from Slovakia, with his solo exhibition, which will open on May 20 at 12:30 at the NICC “Trajko Prokopiev”.
The Malinski Photo Festival is an event that, over the years, has grown into a recognizable cultural and photographic manifestation, not only in Kumanovo, but also beyond.
Photography has the rare power to stop time, preserve emotion, tell a story without words, and bring us closer to people, places, and moments we may never encounter in person. This very power lies at the heart of the Malinski Photo Festival: to create a space where authors, through their photographs, can speak honestly, strongly, and universally.
This year as well, the festival continues to nurture its fundamental mission: the promotion of photographic art, support for authors, and the enrichment of cultural life in the community. Through exhibitions, projections, meetings, and gatherings, Malinski remains a place where photographers connect, audiences discover new visual worlds, and art is given a true space to live.
We are especially pleased that the festival continues to bring together authors from different countries, generations, and photographic approaches. This diversity is its greatest value, because it is precisely through different perspectives that a richer and stronger image of the world around us is created.
