Short Bio
Born in 1967 in Rijeka. Graduated in mechanical engineering at the Technical Faculty in Rijeka in 1991. He lives and works in Rijeka.
He has been systematically engaged in photography since the beginning of 2004, and his association with photography has been going on since childhood. He is fascinated by photography because of the magic of the unrepeatable frozen moment, and with a feeling for light, composition and the moment, he prefers street photography and seaside motifs in his work.
In 2010, he was accepted as a member of HDLU Rijeka, and in the same year he received the title of AFIAP, while in 2012 he received the high title of EFIAP. He is an active member of Photo Club Color (Rijeka), Photo Club Pag and Photo Club Objektiv (Kragujevac).
Exhibited at 20 solo exhibitions and over 670 group exhibitions and received over 530 awards and recognitions. He received a number of important awards for his work, the "Tošo Dabac" award for 2023, the annual award of the City of Rijeka in 2019, the annual award of the HZTK for 2019, the annual awards of the Croatian Photographic Association for 2009 and 2010, and nine times the "Apoksiomen" award for improving the quality of cultural creativity in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County.
He was a selector and member of the jury for over 40 photography FIAP and PSA salons and competitions. Since the beginning of 2013, he has also been working as a photography instructor and holds photography courses and workshops.
